Releasing as part of the brand’s 2021 Air Max Day celebration, the Nike Air Max Pre-Day ‘Liquid Lime’ delivers a new addition to the Air Max family, one that carries the torch for previous generations of the vaunted sneaker line. The sneaker’s retro aesthetic is bound up in a sustainable build, comprising a bright green textile upper made from 100% recycled polyester, and a black rubber outsole built with at least 13% Nike Grind Rubber. The shoe’s standout feature is the visible Air sole unit in the heel, unchanged from the one used in the Air Max 1 and 90, but fully exposed and not viewed through an enclosed window.
