In a nod to the popularity of its Air Max range, as well as the fashion influences that many of the leading cities in the world had on it, Nike introduced the Nike Air Max Hometurf Milan Pack in February of 2013. Part of a set of other Home Turf packs, the Milan Air Max Pack included 4 different Air Max models which included the ever-so-popular, and original, Air Max 1 Milan. The Milan Air Max was the most sought-after of all of the Hometurf releases and featured a light wheat colored suede upper and midsole with neon pink interior, upper eye stays and outsole. The Milan Air Max One also featured unique Milan and Air Max branding on the tongue and a lower Hometurf lace stay. Although not a collaboration, the Milan AM1 was composed of premium materials and an uncommon color makeup which added to its broad appeal and desirability. Retailing at a price of $120 the AM1 Milan was originally available only via select Nike Sportswear Accounts within each of the Home Turf inspired cities, but was later released at additional NSW locations. The Nike Air Max 1 Hometurf "Milan" was clearly the most desired of the Hometurf pack, and its brilliantly crafted color palette of classic wheat and modern mango leave no doubt as to why.
