The second half of the "Marble Pack", this time we see the GEL-Lyte III come in a Black/Black colourway, a much more toned down alternative to the King Fisher colourway. Eye-catching nonetheless, this colourway also features a black nubuck base layer, with black overlays in a different material providing a difference in colour and creating the marble effect. The black runs onto the middle portion of the midsole on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe also, muting the blue mesh sockliner nicely. The ASICS stripes on the sides of the shoe have a blue trim making them much more noticeable, and ASICS GEL and GEL-Lyte III branding on the heel is intricately embroidered in blue also. Capping it off nicely, a white midsole and outsole adds just the right amount of colour to the shoe.
