The Nike Air Huarache Runner is essentially an updated interpretation of the Tinker Hatfield’s creation that debuted back in 1991. It features a modern design while also managing to return the DNA of the original Huarache shoe. For example, the neoprene bootie remains, but it has been updated to give it a bit of a more streamlined fit. The Air cushioning has also been redesigned with a Phylon foam for a more responsive ride. Other new features include new materials used on the construction such as an upper made from a combination of synthetic leather and mesh along with suede that adds a nice luxe look and feel.
