Spearheaded by the Flyknit-constructed Air Max 1’s lead designer Ben Yu, the shoe features a fully woven upper with a looser knit pattern at the to and tongue for ventilation while a closed construction in the heel provides added support. Meanwhile, a fused mudguard replicates the look of the original Air Max 1, while the cored-out foam tooling reduces weight even further and adds comfort.
